Human Resources and Talent Partner
The Human Resources and Talent Partner plays a critical role in human resources support and talent acquisition for Samaritan Daytop Village sites in the Hudson Valley. The Human Resources and Talent Partner will support on the ground human resources needs such as employee engagement and employee relations in partnership with the Headquarters Human Resources Team and be responsible for talent acquisition across the region which includes Rockland, Ulster and Sullivan Counties.
The successful Human Resources and Talent Partner will be able to manage competing priorities with ease and grace, be a proactive problem solver and have a wide range of experience and knowledge in human resources including talent acquisition.
Talent Acquistion (70%)
Use proactive and passive sourcing techniques to identify candidates for clinical, administrative and client support roles including attending and organizing events and job fairs
Seamlessly partner with hiring managers to establish needs for open roles and sites more generally
Screen candidates and efficiently schedule them for interviews with hiring managers
Support hiring managers in advancing candidates, confirming credentials and licensure, issuing offer letters, and moving candidates into on-boarding
Contribute to Talent Acquistion projects and initiatives in partnership with Headquarters Talent Acquistion staff
Employee Relations and Employee Engagement (30%)
Collect new hire documentation and assist new employees with scheduling and technology needs for weekly virtual new hire orientation sessions
Support Headquarters Human Resources Team and program leaders in region in solving performance management challenges including documentation, investigations, corrective action plans, and separation conversations
In partnership with HQ Human Resources serve as the human resources representative for the Hudson Valley and assist employees with questions on benefits, leaves or other inquires
Conduct employee satisfaction surveys for newly hired staff for region
Encourage participation in employee events and activities
At least 5 years of experience in human resources including experience with proactive high-volume recruitment
Deep understanding and knowledge of applicable employment laws
Proactive nature, with the ability to independently support the region with partnership and oversight from the HQ Human Resources Team
Ability to proactively solve challenges as they arise with sound judgement and professionalism
Highly organized and efficient, and comfortable with technology and navigating within different software throughout the day
Experience with using ATS, iCIMS experience is a plus
Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and program leaders and continuously provide support with a service-oriented mindset even in challenging situations
Excellent communicator, both verbal and written
Ability to move between work locations in the region regularly and visit the Queens HQ on a monthly basis
Additional Information
This is a non-exempt role with an hourly rate of $30.22-$32.97 (annualized $55K-$60K) and includes a full benefits package. This is a hybrid role that operates from a Samaritan Daytop Village sites 3 days per week including Mondays to be available during new hire orientations.
