The Role


Under general direction, the Application Specialist is responsible for the designing of application product solutions in line with specifications given by direct supervisors, implementing software and taking it live with staff members, and offering support services for users. The role requires a professional and proactive work ethic as well as the ability to interact and work well within a team dynamic. The individual should have the ability to problem solve and trouble shoot, as well as organize their assigned workload. This work is carried out in support of the mission and goals of Samaritan Daytop Village. 

Responsibilities


What You Will Do


  • Provides support for staff, troubleshoot problems, create support documentation, and train staff
  • Prepares and design projects for go live, check for bugs, attend meetings, conduct presentations
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


Who You Will Be


 

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a Team environment and independently.
  • Possession of excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work and multi-task.
  • Ability to work with employees at all levels and external vendors.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering top-tier customer service.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to articulate and speak in public settings.
  • Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
