Salary: $95,000-$116,000

The Role

The Program Director is responsible for the overall clinical management and administrative operations of assigned program(s). Responsible for managing and monitoring the job performance of all program employees; assuring the quality of clinical services provided to persons served and the communications between program employees and agency administration.

Responsibilities


What You Will Do


  • Monitors quality, effectiveness and efficiency of program’s clinical services and safety of environment of care.
  • Helps develop, implement and deploy agency policy and procedures.
  • Provides clinical and administrative supervision to program staff.
  • Interviews, hires, trains clinical and administrative staff, including any needed personnel management.
  • Provides administrative supervision for plant operations; ensures a safe and secure environment of care.
  • Ensures clinical staff maintains accurate, complete and timely records that comply with regulatory standards and agency internal policy and procedure.
  • Monitors such metrics as staff productivity, billing compliance, budget or contract measures, and key performance indicators.
  • Ensures that all program staff uphold the agency's policies and comply with all Federal, State, Local, and regulatory agency (CARF, JCAHO)  laws/regulations.

Qualifications


Who You Will Be


  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Nursing or related advanced degree.
  • Clinical licensure: LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, PhD, NP, or RN with relevant experience.
  • Will also consider in lieu of the above listed degrees and licensure: a Masters degree with an OASAS CASAC certification (Advanced or Master Level) including OASAS Clinical Supervision Foundations I & II (30 hours).
  • At least 4 years of experience in substance use and/or mental health treatment
  • At least 3 years of administrative/supervisory experience in the field of addiction and/or mental health.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based treatments, managed care principles, and behavioral practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and EHR.
  • Seminar in Field Instructions (SIFI) preferred or willingness to obtain within One year from date of hire.
  • Knowledge of OASAS, OMH, CSAT guidance.
  • Ability to implement and monitor policy and procedure in accordance with agency guidelines.
  • Knowledgeable about Federal, state and local law and regulation governing substance abuse treatment programs.
