Social Worker
Samaritan Daytop Village is a leading human services organization in New York State serving over 38,000 New Yorkers annually across more than 60 locations through Transitional Housing, Community Based Services, and Residential and Outpatient programs. First Steps Intensive Crisis Stabilization Center (ICSC), operated by Samaritan Daytop Village in Rockland County, is a 24/7 program dually licensed by OMH and OASAS to provide rapid, short-term support for children ages 5+ and adults in mental health or substance use crisis. Our multidisciplinary team utilizes a trauma-informed, harm-reduction framework to stabilize individuals and connect them with long-term care while avoiding unnecessary emergency room visits.
We are seeking a licensed Social Worker (LMSW or LCSW) to join a multidisciplinary team as a clinical advocate for individuals navigating behavioral health and substance use challenges. This role focuses on providing trauma-informed crisis intervention, comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, and life-changing safety planning. By bridging the gap between acute crisis and long-term stability, the Social Worker ensures every client receives person-centered, culturally responsive care that meets the highest OMH/OASAS standards. This position offers a vital opportunity for a dedicated clinician to coordinate complex discharge plans and empower individuals on their unique path to recovery within a fast-paced, integrated care environment.
Additional Information
This is a full-time exempt role with an annual salary of $70,000-$79,568 with a full benefits package. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 25 days of paid time off, access to a retirement account with an employer to match, and tuition reimbursement.
